Angus Robertson/Mary McKay

Information required on Angus Robertson born about 1835 I don't know where (his father was called Hugh on wedding certificate) and Mary McKay born about 1836 Swinton, Berwickshire, daughter of George McKay and Agnes Taylor of Swinton. Angus and Mary married 1875 Swinton. He was a widower. They had daughter Agnes Taylor Robertson born 1879 Swinton. Thereafter I cannot seem to find them on any census anywhere.

The best place likely to start for Angus Robertson is to check his details on his marriage cert in 1875. You mention his father was Hugh. Does it show his mother's details and father's occupation? What was Angus' occupation?

Like you though, struggle so far to find them on the Scottish census post their marriage
