1921 census?
« on: Tuesday 31 July 12 16:31 BST (UK) »
:)Hi all, I was wondering if someone could tell me please ;) . . . where and if I can look at the 1921 census for England, I know the person I am looking for left for Melbourne Australia in 1922.  I was hoping if I could look at the 1921 census this would tell me if it's the peson I'm looking for. :D

The person I am looking for was on the 1911 census, went to war, then "Died" he is on our war memorial; then he left for Australia in 1922... so I would like to know if this is him or not.

Any help in this matter would be most helpful :) ;) :D ;D

Hi yes I'm still looking for Fred; I thought that if I could look at the 1921 census this might tell me if this Fred Harding was my Fred... the passenger list tell me that this Fred lived somewhere (Iv got to go back to the library and write it down as Iv forgot where it was!) anyway as this Fred sailed in 1922 I thought Fred might have been in the same place in 1921... so I thought the 1921 census would be the place to see...
The reason I'm doing this is to be ready for the anniversary of the Grate War so these men on our war memorial will not be forgotten

"we will remember them"

Many Many Thanks

Put Fred away for now,and take him out again in a few months time- I bet you'll find something new online by then.

I have with one of my lines...............in fact I'd left that one for years, and suddenly tried the surname and blow me there was the whole family coming from an entirely different place than I'd been looking  ::)
