Looking for information on my 3rd Great Granfather John Kipling born (8 Sep 1782  Burneston, Yorkshire, England ). Married Elizabeth Thompson ( 17 Jan 1785 Rufforth, Yorkshire, England) 21 Sep 1806 Burneston, Yorkshire, England.  Children:  Septimus 26 Jun 1817 Brough under Stainmore, Westmoreland / William 6 Nov 1819 Brought Under Stainmore Westmoreland / Thomas  2 Mar 1826 Middleton, Durham County / Elizabeth  22 Jun 1828 Egglestone, Durham / died Dec 1912 in Durham, Durham.  Thomas, my GG Grandfather and his brothers, imigrated to the US about 1853 where they ended up in Illinois as miners.

 I have found the Elizabeth married John Parkin (1829-1912) in 1850.   They had 5 children; Charles,Thomas Kipling, John, Jane Elizabeth & Mary Ann. They lived in Durham & Yorkshire.

has quite a few indexes, but I don't see any Kipling families at first glance. But it's a good place to start.
