closed Kathlyn Mary Sybil Crewe/Harris

I have written a similar post awhile back but I am hoping this may bring new eyes to the post.

I am looking for a death record and or Birth Record for Kathlyn Mary Sybil Crewe ( maiden name)

She was married to Claude Spencer Harris 22nd March 1929 in Lambeth but I believe ( just a hunch) she was born in Cirencester but I know she was born around 1905. She did divorce Claude around 1950's and she lived in Cirencester.

If anyone is able to look this up I would be grateful

I am also interested in her father William Charles Crewe who may or may not have been born in Cirencester

There is a Kathleen Mary Crewe born 1903 Cirencester - she appears to be the daughter of Charles Crewe and Fanny Keen.

In 1911 her birthplace is given as - Overley Daglingworth Cirencester Glos.

There are sisters:- Ethel Sophia ; Elsie Lilian and Winnifred Daisy as well as a brother William Charles

Surely Kathleen's birth would be registered as kathleen Mary Sybil Crewe- not just Kathleen Mary???

I totally agree but its not. I have both Birth Certificate and M cert also its so odd

I was wrong Kathleen is not the same person as Kathlyn though similar Kathlyns father was william charles and she was born around 1905. so I am not back to the begining with her. Its thanks to Suz that I know this  thank you xxx

I have just had confirmation that kathlyn/kathleen was burried in cirencester in 1973 many thanks for everyones help

the only problem is Kathleen Mary Crewe daughter of Charles and Fanny was not b 1905

ages onn death certs are only as accurate as the informant knows
So possibly Kathleen had told everyone she was 2 years younger than she really was
a birth date of 1 Oct would be reg in Dec qtr
so maybe "your" Kathleen was born 1 Oct 1903 not 1905

You really need birth cert to confirm

You state you already have birth cert and marriage cert

Could you post details from those certificates?
