Civil registration of Catholic marriages began in 1864 and non-Catholic marriages in 1845. Before those dates you need to know where the marriage took place in order to see if church records survive for the right period.

Hi,
This is a long shot but a Thomas Harvey married Kate McKee on 13 Sept 1854. The marriage was registered in Trim, Co. Meath and the fathers' names were John Harvey and William McKee.
