Mary's father died just before their marriage 19/7/1789
They had 2 sons.
John ELLIOT born 11/9/1792 Galashiels and his father was listed as servant at Rink.
William ELLIOT born 9/8/1794 and his father was listed as a servant at Philliphaugh Selkirk.
Mary died in 1835 at 79 years old, making her birth 1756. William died before Mary and she never remarried.
On both of the son's death certificates their father William was listed as a farm servant.
