Hello, Could you please have a look for a Sarah Matilda Hendon born 1804 ish believed to have lived in or around Hazelwood Suffolk/Derbyshire,. Said to have married around 1828ish to James Stanley Stuart who was a policeman, In 1835 we found him in Deptford in London and then in 1838 family moved to South Australia with 5 children. I am looking for marriage and possible births for children, which were believed to be James born 1827ish  place unknown England,  female 1829 place unknown England, William 1833 Greenwich, Emily 1835 Deptford, Henry 1837? place unknown,     Thank you for ANY help.

Hi Diane :)

By English standards, Suffolk is a long way from Derbyshire.  I live in Suffolk but have never heard of Hazelwood.  Could you tell us where you found this information please?

HAZELWOOD.WAS A VILLAGE IN 1800 NEAR SAXMUNDEN.VILLAGE NEAR BY ALDRIGE .DOES COME UP IN GOOGLE SEARCH.
BELEIVED STUARTS LIVED THERE?.BUT THINK PARISH RECORDS NOT GIVEN TO LDS OR ANCESTRY TO PUT ON NET?.HENCE CANT FIND PEOPLE.HAVE NO OTHER DETAILS.THANK YOU.

This link tells you where Hazelwood parish used to be - scroll down to 'H' and take it from there: www.saxmundham.org/aboutsax/surroundingparishes

If you post on the Suffolk board in RootsChat, explaining what you know so far, you should be able to find out where the parish records are and maybe some kind person will do a look-up for you.
