Hi,
Does anyone know how I can find out more about the Hussars in Dublin?
Were there many regiments?
I'm loooking for someone who was probably there in the 1890s.
Thanks

There were at least four regiments of Hussars in Dublin during this period:
= 3rd Hussars were there from 1891 to 1895;
= 10th Hussars were there from 1890 to 1893
= 12th Hussars were there from 1894 to 1895;
= 15th Hussars were there from 1895 to 1896.
Others which on paper were based elsewhere in Ireland may also have had a detachment in Dublin.
If you have a name you should post it, as someone may be able to find their record on Findmypast for you. If you have a date you need to post the month as well as the year.

Charles John Goodall had 3 children - Florence Mary b 1895 in Dublin, John Charles 1900 and Joseph b 1901.
After Charles John Goodall died (when?), Margarita and children went to UK and remarried in 1904.
