Hi Teresa

My friends are related to the Farmers of Duston which is your lineage?.

The Sargeant's are they originally from Brafield on the Green as I have a link into Thomas Sargeant of Albion Place.

Hi Sandy

I have a very complicated family
Elizabeth Annie Farmer of Old Duston was the mother of my fathers step mother does that make sense lol

I have traced the line back to John Farmer born 1796 all the direct line back were born in duston but I have not yet added partners and children to siblings so a way to go yet

Elizabeth Annie farmer married John Sargeant and so far the Sargeant line has all been in northampton but again I haven't researched spouces and children of the siblings  I can take the Sargeant line back to thomas Law sargeant born abt 1834 Northampton

Hi Terresa

I am sure that I saw a Thomas Law Sargeant when I was looking into my family tree last year, I live in Northampton so it is possible.

I will check this out later this evening when I get home from work.

Hi

I do have a Thomas SERJEANT or SARGENT (baptised, I believe, in Wymington) who married an Esther CUMBERLAND of Wadenhoe, on 6 Jul 1807 at Denford, Northants. I know a little more about the CUMBERLANDs but nothing about the SERJEANTs, except that Thomas and Esther went on to live in Higham Ferrers; any clues would be welcome.
Northants: CHEW, TEBBUTT, RAGSDALE, WILSON, BAKER, FRENCH, CUMBERLAND
Cumberland: BIRKETT, HODGSON, ROBINSON, TODHUNTER, TOLSON
Angus: DAND, LOW
London: CHEW, CHADWICK, PERRIN
Surrey: CHADWICK, GARRET
South Africa: JEFFREY, JEFFERIES, BIRKETT, CHEW, COMRIE, WALKER, DAND, MACPHERSON, SMITH
Wilts: BULLOCK, JEFFERIES

Hi Paul

I am very interested in your Ann Farmer.   I do not have an Ann in amongst mine as yet but given that she was born in Duston I think there might be a connection.

I checked out yor website which gives Anns parents as Richard and Jane - I have a feeling that Your Richard and my John Farmer I have who was born 2 years later could possibly be brothers,  I am hoping to go about proving this in the next few days and will get back to you with any news I have found
