Jones Street, Toxteth Park - where was it located?

Dear rootschat members -

Can someone please help me locate Jones Street in Toxteth Park in about 1865.  It was cited in Gore's directories and in the 1841, 1851 and 1861 U.K. Censuses.

It appears to have been located in the vicinity of an area bounded on three sides by Warwick and Northumberland Streets and Park Road.  But i cannot find it on on-line maps dated between 1849 and about 1900.

Perhaps its name was changed?

Any effort expended on my behalf would be greatly appreciated...
