Hi
I doubt the Susanna Wilding born Shirehampton circa 1776 being searched for in Westbury on Trym Gloucestershire on the 1841 and 1851 census is the correct woman as she is unmarried with her older widowed sister Sarah Davis. Whereas other topics state the search is for the mother of Rebecca Wilding born in Plymouth in 1809 whose father was Captain John Wilding deceased 1829. Rebecca Wilding living in Gloucestershire on later censuses.
There is a Rebecca Wilding aged 62 on the 1871 census in Bristol born Plymouth who was a widow on the 1871 census with daughter Jane Wilding aged 21 born Bristol. She appears on the 1861 census as the wife of William Wilding RG9 1733 folio 79 in Bristol and in the same city on the 1851 census HO 107 1954 folio 123 eldest child of William and Rebecca Wilding aged 18 on that census, confirmed by the 1841 census. William Wilding was a shoe maker. There is a possible marriage of a William Wilding to a Rebecca Gunter in 1832 in Gloucestershire which might be a match.
The possible death given on this topic of John Wilding seems to be of an ordinary seamen in Malta in 1829.

Other than a John Wilding aged 41 in the 1861 census in Wales who was an agricultural labourer and a Joseph Wilding aged 42 a tailor in Preston Lancashire, these seem to be the only Wildings who were born Wilding and born in Plymouth on the censuses apart from the ones in the London area.

So these siblings had definitely moved to the London area by 1840. If they had a sister Rebecca and she survived childhood there isn't any evidence as yet of her in the London area married or unmarried.
