« on: Monday 16 July 12 22:28 BST (UK) »
This is a photo postcard (13.5cm x 8.5cm), taken in Northumberland,
If I get an approx date it will help me to identify the infant.

J Candlish Ruddock had a studio in Bondgate, Alnwick in 1904.  I do not know how long the studio was in operation, but this may help to narrow the timeframe.
Please help me to help you by citing sources for information.

Difficult to give an accurate date as this was standard wear throughout the Edwardian period, however I would suggest the latter half,1905-10 & possibly up to WW1.

Thanks for the replies

There are only two possible candidates for the child, one born in 1900 .... and one born in 1912

I had a feeling this photo could not be taken in 1901, Looks like Jim1 has it spot on.

Thanks
