Manitoba Archives - Probate

If anyone is at, or planning to go to the Manitoba Archives, I would sincerely appreciate a probate file lookup. I do not live in Wpg and am limited in travelling due to my son who has disability challenges. If I could, I would make regular trips there but am limited to what is available online.

I have all the file locator codes , etc.

I can't do the look up for you but I could do a search for a obit... just leave me the name and date of the persons death

Awwww thanks for the offer but he had no obituary, but I did find reports in the papers noting his death.  He seems to be a wisp of smoke.

familysearch has manitoba probate records.

I had not seen this before...I don't do this sort of thing anymore as I didn't find my bus trips there & back, sometimes full days work searching for others all that rewarding...One fellow even took out his frustration on me when he realized my afternoon spent looking through newspaper & directory reels just for this one man revealed he wasn't the big shot they'd thought he might be. Hardly the thank you I'd expected...
