It's a good idea to post a link to previous relevant topics, although in this case I think just the key details might be more useful :

I am looking for info on a Richard Champion  married to Elizabeth in Dublin? Possibly a member of RIC.

The earliest info I have is the marriage of Joseph Byrne to Elizabeth Champion 14/05/1876 in Dundrum, Co. Dublin RC church. Her parents Richard & Elizabeth.
....
Daughter, Elizabeth ii married Joseph Byrne, and had at least 3 children, Elizabeth iii(1883-1944) Margaret(c1877-?) & Edward (1880-?).
Elizabeth iii married Bernard Murphy in 1907(1874/5-1915). KIA Ypres. 1st Batt.Leinster Regt.
......

Full civil registration started in 1864, so to search further back e.g. for Elizabeth's baptism or her parents marriage you will need to check for church records.

Do you have a civil record of the 1876 marriage, i.e. a cert, or just a parish record ?

The civil record should give some additional details which might help your search, such as current residences for the bride and groom, and occupations for Joseph, and the two fathers.

see : Introduction to Irish Records
