you could get a copy of their marriage cert

Elizabeth May sept qtr 1841 St James Westminster vol 1 pg 137 with Richard Lloyd on the same page

Given that the marriage was registered in sept qtr, you wouldn't expect to find them together on the 1841 census which took place in June.

There's a possible Elizabeth May, daughter of John, a shoemaker, born Middlesex at HO107/737/10 folio 29 pg 4

The marriage ref for John Edwards & Elizabeth Lloyd is march qtr 1842 St James Westminster vol 1 pg 93. You'll need one or other of the certs to get any further.

Given the fact that looking for a specific LLOYD connection in Glamorganshire with so little to go on is being somewhat ummm... over-optimistic, I tried Elizabeth's maiden name of MAY... and found...
Joseph MAY (Widower of Coety) m Catherine DAVY 12 Feb 1823 which seems a distinct possibility IF he had a daughter (Elizabeth) from his prev marriage b abt 1817.
Can anyone confirm/disprove this theory, as it might help narrow down my search for siblings Richard and Elizabeth LLOYD and their father John LLOYD?
(I do realise I'm clutching at straws...)

I can see a couple of baptisms to Joseph May which look to be from an earlier marriage, both baptised in Coity to a Joseph (horse keeper) & Bridget
James bp 11/12/1813
William bp 7/5/1814

Possible burial for Bridget May aged 45 27/10/1820 in Neath

By the way, his marriage to Catherine Davy was 1825.
