Polish Records - translation please
« on: Sunday 15 July 12 02:05 BST (UK) »
These are a couple of Polish records that are of my third great grandparents. But, beyond that, I have no idea what they say. I am including a link to them because it might be easier to view them by zooming in. I think there might be some Yiddish in there as well. Any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi David

I've had a go at the second one but please can somebody check it carefully  :)

First some notes:

Often document dates from this time have two dates, firstly the Julian calendar (Russian Empire) and secondly the Gregorian calendar (what is used today).  They should be 12 days apart.

If you are going to use online translating programs then be aware that Polish-English ones can translate positive statements as negatives, and male names as female, and vice versa.

Some names are hard to read!
