Hi,
I am looking for grace wood who  emigrated to australia . I know she married, but who I do not know. I know she had a daughter, other than that nothing. Her mother was Mary Elizabeth Ann Wood, her father was william wood
can anyone help?

Do you have any dates or places to narrow down the search? Her birth, her parents' marriage etc.

Without a rough idea of the time frame there is now way to be sure if what we find fits.

Her parents married 04-12-28. she was born between 1929 -1936 from what I can gather, she has a daughter abit older than me at 51 cant remember her name, she landed at the house when I was a teenager, butlike everything else, never took any notice of what shewas saying.

grace hasbrothers ans sisters, William 1929,ada 1931, elevln 1932, fredrick 1933,john 1935, kathleen 1936 died same year.

From finding Kathleen's birth and death in 1936 it seems that the parents of the children you mention were a William Wood and given as an Elizabeth M A Hedges who married in the Bromley District of Kent in 1928.Now I can see the births of all the other children you mention but not Grace?

grace was I always thought my aunt,now it appears she wasnt,is it a case of one of my grans sisters kids taken in?Mary ann Elizabeth was my grans birth name? could this be what happened,gran raised her as her own?
