That certainly looks plausible. There is a postem on FreeBMD on Catherine's first marriage which says:
"Parish - North Wingfield, Derbyshire : 11 May 1840: James Davenport, age, bachelor, labourer of Tupton to Catherine Scoggins, age, spinister, of Tupton. Grooms father - Thomas Davenport, farmer. Brides father-John Scoggins, weaver"
There is this baptism in Clarborough:
12 Nov 1815 - Catherine Schogen, dau of John & Elizth.
Checking the marriage register (or certificate) for Catherine's marriage to William Allen would confirm her father's name.
The only marriage I can find in the Retford area for William and Ann is this one:
Hayton St Peter marriage
25 Nov 1817 - William ALLIN & Ann FOX
They appear to have had a daughter who died in infancy:
Clarborough - Aug 1818 - Mary Allen dau of Willm. & Ann (buried 29 Aug 1818)
