HENRY RICHARD BIGGS married 1894 ROTHERHITHE,to Sarah H ?

I am struggling to find such a marriage on FreeBMD ???

The Richard Henry BIGGS who married Emma in Poplar in 1894 does not seem to have had a daughter Beatrice in the first decade of the 20th century - or at least not one who survived.

We seem to be switching from
a) Richard Henry Biggs married 1894 Poplar (Patrish has given you details of that one, he married an Emma)

b) Henry Richard Biggs married 1907 - presumably you mean the June qtr 1907 Wandsworth one.

Can we go back to what you actually know about Beatrice Biggs, did she marry, where did she live etc.  ;)   Perhaps you could post details of the families from the 1901 census, where was Sarah born. I can't see any Sarah Biggs that would 'fit' in Rotherhithe in 1901

BEATRICE MAY BIGGS Jun 1905 1c 536  POPLAR.

Public tree on ancestry gives following
Beatrice May Biggs born 8 May 1905 died 1992 Barking Essex - No parents named  ???
married 1929 George Joseph Kneller b1906 died 1974 (4 living children – not named)

If you use FreeBMD search by surname & mother’s maiden name this will give you the names of her 4 children http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

If this might be the right Beatrice Biggs obtaining her marriage certificate would hopefully give you her father’s name
George Kneller to Beatrice M Biggs Jun qtr. 1929 Stepney vol 1c page 392 (FreeBMD)

Hi Rosie .
Yes what happened was he tried RICHARD HENRY BIGGS ,when it should have been HENRY RICHARD BIGGS,
and the confusion sets when in 1901 SARAH H and 4 children are living Rotherhithe, with her parents ,I should have written their names down this morning as i will not see him again until next tuesday ,as i said earlier in 1911 she is living with her brother in law with 2 children ,unfortunately at home i do not have access to census records ,I will try to find her on bmd with what i think is her maiden but not sure and add on when i have i bit of luck ,thank you for your patience ,and please bear with me ,thanks  Arry

There is a Sarah Biggs in Rotherhithe in 1901 with her parents William and Henriette/a Coombs and 4 children Henry, Daisy, Sarah and James.  However, she doesn't have a middle initial H and her husband (also present) is Alfred Biggs. (RG13/397/30/52). She was Sarah Eliza Combes [sic] when she married Alfred Biggs in Southwark in 1890.

Can we rule her out?

Is the Sarah H Biggs you have found thought to be the mother of a Beatrice in due course?
