That is indeed a pity. Meyer was connected  to the Great Synagogue in Dukes Place London. He was there  till 1817
and was a prominent member of the synagogue. It seems he left London in less than desirable circumstances. The next
proven  reference to him in London is in the 1841 census. This is where it gets confusing. Meyers wife/partners name is
given as Mary, but  in 1843 the report from Brighton gives her name as Sarah, and places Moses there but not Meyer.
Then you have the reprt of  Saras  death in Rogasen  Prussia on 4/5/1869, aged 85. Meyer  was born  in  1785 in
either  Poland or Prussia. Research into the convoluted history of that region would seem to prove that  Poland and
Prussia were different names for  the same region at different times. Given these facts i would think  that they were
married in either  Poland or  London. What  family tree  contains the photos of Moses and Elvina?

A little while ago you posted that you had seen a family tree that showed  Moses and Hyam Rintel as being
brothers, Whose family tree was this,  and where did you see it ?

                                                                                           Thanks

I am replying to a post about the Rintel family that I happened across when doing some family research about my great, great grandmother. Her maiden name was Deborah Rintel. She was a member of the Nulawading Church of the First Born that formed the New Jerusalem Commune in Wickapin West Australia. She married John William Schultz, also a member of the New Jerusalem Group, I have 3 siblings and 6 cousins that are all her great great grandchildren.
