Ok yesterday i found out my 2x great grandparents and i i found birth records on bmd, i also found their marriage but today i can not find their parents. These are the details

Alfred Ratcliff/e b. 1851 epsom surrey d.12/1939 surrey
Louisa Thomas b. 03/1858 Hereford    d. 03/1945 surrey

The other brick wall i am having trouble finding my great grandparents i can not for the life of me find it, i have my granddads birth certificate and i know they were married.

An Ada Clark married a William P Ratcliffe in 1929 in Leigh Lancashire per freebmd

Is this your Percy and Ada?

Forget that one - Lancs BMD shows his middle name as Pass

There is no other Clarke/e- Ratcliff/e marriage showing

Yes i realized when i had my grandparents marriage certificate that the E on the end of ratcliff had been knocked off.

Seems to be like that for some records, even my granddads siblings some have the E at the end and some don't.
