1851 census - Richmond, Surrey
« on: Wednesday 30 June 04 09:50 BST (UK) »
Hi!
I'm searching for
Richard Collins HAWKES in Richmond, b. abt 1819, Richmond
Jane HAWKES b abt 1816, Clapham
John HAWKES b. abt 1848, Richmond

John was born in Hill St in 1848, but I do not know if that was where they were for the 1851.  They were still in Richmond somewhere in 1856 when a daughter, Alice was born in 1856.

Any info much appreciated.
Thanks - Bambino

Thank you Bryant!  That really helps with the jigsaw! Feeling a bit ignorant - Do you know what MS means? Would it be male-servant?

Thanks again - Louise

Hello,
that might be 'Mount ARARAT House' in 1841 - present day Mount Ararat Road in Richmond intersects with another road called The Vineyard.   :)
