to get the paper copies of anything to do with Uruaguay    one has to write to the British Consultate/ Foreign Office  or the RO      and pay for extracts.

If u find the Foreigh Office in SOuth America    and do a "historical research request "    and explain that the tyranny of distance means u cant view the records personally    maybe  some one will look them up in their time off from representative work.

ps   pretty well  what i gave u in the original post is all u will see unless u get a copy of the microfilms through the LDS centres  which a fee for each film will be charged.   If the original has anymore details   then your luc will be in good stead  without annoying the foreigh office.
