Hello, I'm currently trying to research information on my Grandmother's side, we don't have much information to go by, all I have is my grandmother was Margaret Turner (Pullen) (born 5/7/1942?- died 4/1/2004), We're trying to find out more about her family, the only names I know are her father Thomas Warrick Pullen (died around 1989 in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia) and her mother Jesse Charlotte Pullen (born Goodwin) Also deceased roughly around 1975-76. We don't know anything more on that side of the family, and there has always been alot of unanswered questions regarding that side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NB: I'm uncertain but through some research It's possible Thomas Warrick Pullen has parents names William John Pullen and Mary Elizabeth Pullen (born Mcgrath).  Thank You

Hi, Thomas Warwick Pullen's Parents were William W Pullen and Mary Swan . Thomas was born 1908 and registered at Taree NSW. The ref # for his birth is 8860/1908.

William W Pullen and Mary Swan were married in 1897 and this was also registered at Taree number is 4193/1897.

He had a number of siblings, William J 1897, Reginald A 1899, Margaret H 1901, Charlotte I 1903, Lillian D 1905 all registered at Taree and Ethel M 1911 born at Belligen Also Eva B Pullen born at Belligen but died 1913.

There could be further siblings born after 1911 the cutoff for NSW BDM's.

Hi again, William W Pullen was born 1875 and his birth registered at Manning River (Taree) his parents were John Kingsworth Pullen and Charlotte ?.

William W Pullen had eight other siblings all born same area.
Charles K 1859 Wingham died 1918 at Macksville
Then at Taree Sarah 1861, George 1863-1942 at Port Macquarie, Ida 1865, Erastus 1868-1937 Hornsby, Blanch Amy 1870-1948 Hornsby, Augusta 1872-1957 Hornsby, and Ethel 1879.

There is also a death recorded for a Esther A Pullen in 1878 at Gunnedah with same parents it is unknown at the moment where she was born. possibly not connected?

I cannot find John and Charlotte's marriage at the moment.

Gee Ros, I was thinking that they might be related to the Pullen family of Maitland a very old family there. I wonder if this a connection.
