There is no mother mentioned in the parish register for any of John's children.

Women were not considered important in those days!

I think it may have been a bit confussing on magslote posting as her
name is Margaret.

As Marilyn says just John noted in the P.R.

I think someone has done a transcription of Easton's P.R.
and a copy is held at the N.Record Office.

I may be in-correct though.

Oh. I got it wrong completely then    Thank you Sandy.  Is the index available only at the Record Office ? Do you know if copies can be purchased ? I'm all questions aren't I

Hi again Sue.

I think it needs to be confirmed that is where the copy of the
transcipt is that I saw as I might be totally wrong.
