Michael Doherty
born 8 Jan 1863
Tiernasligo, Clonmany, Co. Donegal, Ireland.

Father: daniel Doherty
Mother: Catherine Friel


All his siblings I have found in Boston but I cannot find him

His Newphew Michael travelled form Ireland on 26 Sept 1922 to visit his uncle Michael above, adress given as 35 Russell Street, Charlestown, Boston

The following is probably some useless information.

My mother's aunt Rose Kearney (Brians) Leenankeel arrived in Boston December 1920.
The address she went to was 33 Russell Street,Charlestown. Her cousin Ellen Doherty lived there. Another two Kearneys from Leenankeel, Ellen and Catherine, (a different family) also arrived on the same day to stay at the same address with their cousin George McGaffen.

I didn't find your Michael Doherty, however I did find Russell Street in the 1920 census. I've written down the family names so you could search for them in the 1930 in order to find Russell Street again. I searched through 5 districts before finding the closest address. Russell Street appears in several districts of Charlestown, off and on.

I didn't find 33 or 35 Russell Street. I did check the last two pages as that is where they enumerate households they missed - however I didn't find the person (or the address) you are searching, in the 1920.

Probably more useless information but while I was trawling through Ellis Island I came across a Dan Carney,aged 21,Clonmany.
Father John Carney.
Going to 35 Russell Street,Boston to his brother John Carney.
Arrived 24th November 1924.

Found him on 1930 census but not at Russell Street.

 I cant find this address on either 1920 or 1930 census 

name should read Canny
