I've just seen a CD offered for $30. Perhaps a bit expensive for an occasional lookup. Will try our main city library

The 1875 Handbook I have is not in great condition, I found it in an op shop 20 or 30 years ago, and have just had it kicking about, but originally kept it as it was interesting.  For anything specific, I could praps lookup or scan.  Just not sure where to put it on this site, or what interest there would be.

I agree - that page is a fascinating reads; and exactly what I was looking for.

Is the book broken down into obvious chapters and / or sections?
Maybe the moderator of the Australian thread consider it as a "look-up" resource
