Any soldier retired to pension was called a Chelsea Pensioner, mostly they were out pensioners.
Edward MUNNS born Drumcliff, County Sligo, he enlisted in the 86th. Rgt. of Foot at Newry the 13 Sep. 1824, discharged 32 Rgt. of Foot at Chatham 28 Aug. 1846 Old and worn out man.
He served 10 years 5 months in the West Indies
3 years 3 months in Canada
The remainder he served at home.
