sometimes the name is spelt Scaisbrick on his childrens baptisms

this in no way confirms any thing but I noted your Robert was a taylor and he also has a son Joseph and daughter Alice

Formby was detatched chapelry of the parish of Walton on the Hill.

It might be worth checking wheteher any of the families left wills. These will be held at lancashire Record Office. They also have a book entitled something like Lancashire Catholic Wills and another detatiling legatees of wills that might be useful.
