one of the stories includes the details of a double murder and suicide at 3 Ruthven Avenue in 1942
Such a sad & needless story available on FindMyPast.
For ref. for anyone researching that family, the victims were...
Mrs Elizabeth Ryan (41), previously MacNamara, nee Kelly, daughter Annie MacNamara aka Nancy Ryan (20) both from Ireland & the Gunman was Duncan Doig (40) a native of Crieff, Perthshire.
All info. available at scotlandspeople & there's a photo of the lovely daughter Annie/Nancy on FindMyPast.
