My great grandmother Hanora Maher was born/baptised on the 10 June 1873 at Castlehill. Annacotty RD, Limerick.. Her parents were John Maher & Hanora Ryan. I have been trying to trace the marriage details for John & Hanora but without much luck. Can anybody help please. If anybody should come across any brothers or sisters for my great grandmother that would be brilliant.

Hi there,

I'm wondering might John's wife also have gone by the name of Anne

22 December 1870 Anne Maher born Annacotty Limerick to John Maher and Anne Ryan

25 August 1864 Mary Maher born Annacotty Limerick to John Maher and Anne Ryan

If this scenario is correct then it's possible that John and Hanorah were married before 1864 when civil registration began.
