I wonder if the Elizabeth was born 18 Mar 1770 in Greenock, married Thomas Galt born 1751 Dundonald.  Children were Jane born 21 Mar 1797 died Irvine, and Williamina Galt born 20 Oct 1795 Dundonald.  Linked to the Fowlds Galt and Allan families.  House in Minigaff Newton Stewart was called Flowerbanks?  Grandparents John Galt and Agnes Allan.  Uncle William Galt of Edgar Allan Poe fame?

Hi Dotty, Elizabeth Allan of Faulds and her daughters are Allans. The word Faulds is a district in Cumbernauld,Dunbarton, Scotland and not a Surname. I hope this helps your search.
