Hi bell,

Just looking for the marriage.  The only death for a Joel Wainwright in 1916 was in Glossop aged 85 - did he marry at the age of 83?

Hi bell,

I can only see 2 children from the census - Louisa and Charles Richard - but can't see any obvious marriages that would fit with the information so that I can search for a likely church - what is the source of your information?

Thanks,

Jean

I've found the marriage of Charles Richard Wainwright to Ada Lavinia Hulme at Marple All Saints 10th June 1891 - he and father Joel both Chartered Accountants.

I think that Louisa married Percy Woodhouse in 1883 at Disley.

Does any of this fit with what you know?

The Baptist Chapel was in Wellington Street, Gorton, Manchester. You can see the Chapel on the 1908 map at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html?coords=388750,396040
