Hi All,

William Edward George Gittus was born on the 6th May 1900, at Lyell, Tasmania.

After either divorcing his first wife, or she died, [Dora Adila Dobbins], he married Phylliss Daisy Vincent, b: 10th October 1893, at Emu Bay, [Burnie] - Tasmania. Daughter of Henry Vincent & Alison Polson. Do not know where they married, if in fact they did.

My question is, can any-one tell me when/where both William & Phyllis died, and where are they buried.

I was told there is a a birth entry for a male R.W. Gittus born on 30th July 1933, [possibly still alive], at The Nerarra Hospital, Goulburn - Victoria. The article apparently mentions both Edward and Phyllis, so it is possibly the couple in question. I am unaware of what newspaper the Birth entry is mentioned in, it was quiet a long time ago.

Hope some-one can help.

Thanks for the information. You are right with the arrangemnet of christian names, his name is in fact William George Edward GITTUS.

Dora Gittus was his second wife, I thought it was his first.
It now makes me think that the birth entry of R.W Gittus are now two different people.
