Richard 1785--married 1809 Sarah May

I have all the baptism and burial records and marriages.

Thomas was the son of Luke A 1697-1771 and Jane Hempsall, I can go back another 4 generation's from this Thomas.Hope this helps.
There was already a family connection with Edwinstowe.

You could have missing children, a fair old gap between the marriage and first child. I also found a Harriet baptised 25 aug 1822 in Pentrich Derbys.

Hi

Thank you for finding Harriet for me.  Pentrich was a surprise, but it is in the right kind of area and both James, son of John and Elizabeth and Eliza, dau of John and Elizabeth called one of their daughter's Harriett.

There are definitely gaps, both between 1801-1805 and 1814-1821 so I am still looking for missing offspring.

I am also having difficulty finding anything other than the bpt entries for John and Elizabeth's other children, Ann 1805, Eleanor 1809, Robert 1814 and now Harriett 1822.  I thought their burial, marriage or census entries might help, but can't find anything anywhere....

I will bear John bpt 1780 Edwinstowe in mind, but will not pencil him onto my tree until I have more corroborating info.

Valerie

I am searching John Henry Antcliff born to Elizabeth Staniland Antcliff of East Markham (base born) to Sarah Antcliff in 1822, Sarah was born in 1781 in East Markham to Luke and Mary Johnson, they were married in East markham in 1780, If anyone has any information on any other members of this family it will be appreciated.
I believe that John Henry was born and christened as Henry, I have a certificate for a Henry born 17/09/1844 at Clarborough to an Elizabeth Antcliff

Luke Antcliffe baptised 17 Mar 1748 in Askham son of Thomas Antcliffe and Mary Cook was my 2C6R. Luke married 18 Dec 1780 in East Markham to Mary Johnson. I have three daughters for them Sarah 1781-1862. Jane b 1783 and Frances 1786.
Thomas A.(1720-1764) and Mary Cook (1720-1756) married 11 June 1747 in Askham, I have four children for them. Thomas had a further four children with his second wife.
Thomas A. baptised 23 Feb 1720 in East Markham was the son of Luke A.(1697-1752) and his wife Jane Hempsell (1694-1773)
Luke A. baptised 7 May 1697 in Laneham. He was the son of John A. (1645-1711) and his wife Elizabeth Green (1661-1699)They were my 7x great grandparents.
John A. was baptised 14 Sept 1682 in Laneham to Thomas (1615-1668) and his wife Katherine Carr (1611-1664)
Thomas A. was born 20th and bapt 24th April 1615 in East Markham the son of Robert A.(C1585-1622) and his wife Alice Barnwell.(C1585-1647) Robert A. and Alice married 27 Nov 1610 in East Markham this is my earliest sighting of the Antcliffes. They were my 9x great grandparents. The spelling varies over the years but I tend to stick with my maiden name spelling of Antcliffe as it is keeps things simple for me. I hope this has helped. I do have the female lines too if you want them.
