Roddick family help please
« on: Saturday 30 June 12 20:37 BST (UK) »
Please can anyone help me, I am looking for information on Gordon James Roddick born in n Cardiff about 1902 married Winifred Eleanor Richards in 1929, my grandparents (long passed on) He worked for the western mail for many years.
I have found a 1901 census record for Ann st in canton cardiff with a family of Roddick's living there, head of household was Thomas Richards, if someone could take a look at the 1911 census and see if the same family has a son called Gordon James at about the right age I would be grateful.
Cheers

Phil

We are not allowed to look up 1911 census - copyright etc

You can search the index free

This looks like his birth reg FreeBMD
Gordon James Roddick

you could look for his baptism to confirm parents - or purchase birth cert

Thanks for that, I didn't realise there was a problem with looking up the census records as others have done that before!
