MITCHELL - England to Australia
« on: Monday 23 May 05 07:04 BST (UK) »
MITCHELL - Thomas, Sarah Ann, Sarah Ann and possibly Mary Ellen plus other siblings emigrating between 1875 (this is Sarah Ann 2 birth year) and 1896 into Australia. Can find no records in assisted passage into Newcastle or Sydney. The family settled in Newcastle, New South Wales. ???

Hi,

Just noting that many of the arrivals were un-assisted, and that perhaps the following link may help Jenovo - the info on this database is updated regularly as volunteers transcribe the passenger lists. (Scans are also available of those orginal lists)  http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/

Cheers,

MA

And, adding, that I have information about a Harry Mitchell who emigrated to NSW post WW1.

Cheers,
