Guyana---Pieters and Schultz families

Hello,

Looking for information on the above families.
Hector Pieters born March 1925 in Georgetown and Mignon Schultz born September 1928 Demerara. both immigrated to England at different times and were married there. Hector died in Georgetown in 1998 and Mignon in London 2009.
Any info about this family greatly appreciated. I have found that Guyana records are hard to find.  I am very interested in finding out about their parents.

Most of the records for Guyana that are available outside of Guyana are for Victorian British Guiana. The couple did marry in March Qtr., 1958, Wandsworth. Wandsworth is west of Central London on the south side of the River Thames. If you do not have the marriage certificate it would be wise to get it. Also Mignon's death certificate. Expensive yes but worth it in this case.

Thank you Barryd for the answer. I am doing this to help a friend so I will have to have another check with him to see if he does have these  certicates. He did tell me he knew very little so I thought I would try to help him. I have found there is a lack of info out there to find so any help of ideas are greatly appreciated.
