Toxteth buriels

Two sides to my family both living in Dingle Toxteth park.
one tending be more towards Town and the other more towards Princes Park..

I have found a few in Toxteth park cemetery
yet the other side of the family dont appear to be in there at all.
where would you sugest to look,,
I was thinking St James, I have looked online there,but I dont know how complete or near complete they are,
Thye arent there either....would Kirkdale be too far from Toxtheth
maybe Anfiled,,

suggestion welcome please..

Hi

What dates? In the 20th Century south enders started using Allerton instead of Toxteth. If it's earlier it could be one of a number of churchyards or cemeteries like Walton, Anfield, St. Martin's, St. Mary's etc

The familes I have in mind would be around the Dingle area early 1800s up to
early 1900s...
so yes its a wide area to spread I was thinking of Allerton, but thought that would be too late for the folk I wanted
but realise that St James would be just coming to an end around the mid 1800s
some of the family in question married in St James

I think Allerton opened in 1909. Some of my south enders were buried at Parish cemeteries such as Walton these burial records are on Ancestry. None of mine were buried at St. James although that would have been a more obvious location. There are some churchyard burial records on Lancashire OPC. The Record Office would have most of the Liverpool burial records on microfiche.

Hello Heyesie.  I've just noticed your post and wondered if have you tried looking on the Toxteth Park Cemetery website? They have started to add internments for Anfield Cemetery, which includes the Roman Catholic section.
The project is not yet complete. The information only goes back to 1870, but you can always keep checking to see if there's been any new updates that may contain information about your ancestors.
