Hi Sheila - welcome to Rootschat!
If you want to find out details about your Grandfather's burial, Hillfoot(s) Cemetery is also known as New Kilpatrick Cemetery and is in the care of East Dunbartonshire Council.
I believe they're very good at assisting with burial searches but I haven't had any personal experience.
They'd be able to tell you the Section and Lair Number in which he's buried and also, who (if anyone) else is buried there.
