Fred Lord Miller

I am trying to find out about the parents of Fred Lord Miller who died ,aged 2 years on November 12,1915 and is buried in the Old Cemetery,Cobh,Co.Cork.I have come across a Frederick William Miller living on Spike Island in the 1911  census.Frederick William seemed to have married  Francis Mary who was born in Northhampton,England. They were married in 1909.Since there does not seem to be any parents buried with Fred or no graves around his with the same surname I am wondering what became of his parents.

I think that couple listed at Spike Island married at Headington district (mostly in Oxfordshire), in the June quarter of 1909 (Vol. 3a / Page 1911). If this is correct then Frances' maiden name is Dickens.

Census returns for reference :

   Miller household  (Frances and daughter)
Frederick William Miller on Barracks return (as F W  M)

Shane

Have you got his death cert? I don't see an Irish listed birth for him on Family Search.

Frederick W. Miller's occupation is listed as what looks like abbreviation for Quarter Master Sergeant Royal Engineers http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai001907680/. So if this was his father, transfer elsewhere could explain the lone burial.
