Old family search seems to have gone now

Up to a few weeks ago I could get the old fsmily search as suggested by rootschatters and the almost Cousins web site.This morning I was able to fill in details on the home page of the old site but when I pressed search it took me to the home page of the new site which I don't like.The reason I don't like it I find it ties ages to find anyone and you have to plough through lots of unneeded names.
Has the old site gone for ever or has anyone got a clue as to how to use the old site.

Hello, I read this post out of curiosity and tried the link for the same reason. What a brilliant site ;D. I have got loads of new information and confirmation of family links. Thanks to all who posted it's been a real find.

Seems to have gone for good now, or has anyone found a way to access it?

The new site is ok in some cases, although it does seem tricky to navigate and  I don't think all the records are on there.

The old site is going to be greatly missed.  I wonder why they decided to cut it off altogether? I was hoping they would still allow access but not add any new records to the old site.

I hate the new site (and GenesReunited new site).

On Family Search you used to be able to put in parents' names only and sometimes it would show you all the siblings. This was a very useful bit of advice given by someone on this site.  :D

I suppose that it's because I never like change. ::)
