looking for marriage

I am trying to find the marriage of a Reginald/Robert Hyland, to a Marie ?? in the USA, possibly New York Brooklyn, around late 30's.
What I know of him is, on the 1940 census he was age 36 born in England, and living on east 52nd street Kings NY, with his wife Marie age 28 born in Belguim, and his 1yr old son Robert born in New York. He was born in Liverpool England in 1904 parents Joseph and Helena Hyland, birth name was Reginald Hyland, but know as Bob, on the 1940 USA census registered as Robert Hyland? He is my grandmothers sisters son.so can any one help me on this, thanks

http://www.italiangen.org/vitalreclist.stm would be one of the sites we would check for a New York City marriage - unfortunately haven't come across Robert/Reginald/Bob Hyland listed. 

Can see Robert was naturalized 26 th August 1944 still living at 1762 E 52 St Brooklyn. There are death records for both Robert and Marie, hopefully, the son is a living person so we shouldn't really name him.
