Hi all
My ancestor John Bolton died 18th Dec 1862 in Milverton, Leamington, Warwickshire. He was buried on the 23rd Dec 1862 at Leamington Priors according to the burial entry I located on Ancestry. What I'm trying to work out is which churchyard this is likely to be. I have been informed that Leamington Spa cemetery didn't open until 1868 and prior to this it was a churchyard (known as Brunswick Street) attached to All Saints, the parish church for Leamington spa.
How can I find out if this was the churchyard he was buried in? Are there other records I can have checked? (I live in Australia). A kind soul at the council has checked MI's for this churchyard from 1993 but there is nothing for John. As he was a solicitor and had effects of under £10000 I thought there may have been a headstone wherever he was buried.
Appreciate any thoughts, advice or help with this!!
