Thanks for that Amanda ,everything looked good except he would only have been 10/11 years old ,who would think there would be more than one with the name Charity marrying John Palmer in Devon .
Cheers Tsumi :'(

HiTsumi,

I agree. It does seem strnage. Not the most common name to be found in the 1850's.
Perhaps someone with the British Vital Records could find more for you.
Good Luck

Hello Tsumi,

I live in Plymouth so I had a look at the street map.
The nearest Church's in Devonport  would be
Stoke Dameral church
St Josephs RC
St Aubyns Cof E
Holy Redeemer RC
Stoke Dameral in Devonport Rd is probably the oldest, I think it goes back to the late 1700's.

Stringer Shoreditch Belfast Liverpool
Bradshaw Belfast
Jones Holywell Flintshire
Hendren Ayrshire
Maurer  France Ayrshire

Many thanks for that one, now I will try and see if anyone has access to those records,I live at the other end of Britain and I have had no luck with the Later Day Saints records, seems an awful lot were destroyed in the bombings on Plymouth, world war one and two.Cheers Tsumi :)
