You are fortunate to have such intimate details from that period.  You are quite correct about the Hatswell surname not looking local to Abingdon.

I found a couple more possible baptisms for children of John & Hannah

1771 21 Apr   CHAINEY   John   son of John & Hannah,   labr.   

1777 20 Jul   CHEYNE   Richard son of John &   Susannah,   labr.,   Northcourt

I know the Richard one says Susannah but I thinkk it's them - we do have a burial for a Richard son of that couple.

I went looking for a marriage - the only one I can find is from the OFHS marriage index
