I am looking for evidence of the service in The Canadian Army (during WWI), of Albert John Sidwell DAVIS. Albert was born in Bristol, Gloucestershire in 15 March 1897. The family story is that 'Jack' joined the Horse Drawn Artillery and was gassed at the Somme. The pic's below are of Jack.
Researching the family trees of Brookes, Hubbard, Larner, Farnell, Griffin, Wright, Duern, Pidgen and others.

Most men who were gassed survived to fight on.
