Had a quick glance through the Belfast Newsletters of the time but couldn't find any death notice for Daniel Barr.

Incidentally, there were a few references to Barrs of Verner Street, including an Alexander Barr of 48 Verner Street, aged 22, a labourer, who was reported as suffering from "rupture of varicose vein" in 1885, a Daniel Barr of Verner Street reporting having been assaulted by a police constable in 1870 and a curious reference from the 1850s about a Daniel Barr of 52 Verner Street accused of being involved in something called "The Ribbon Conspiracy", a really quite strange story altogether!
