I am looking for relatives of R E Hall. He served with my father in Cairo in 1942.
He was Sgt. no 1331368 72 OTU RAF ME
Before WW11 he was a bank official and obtained  his flying certificate at The Midland Flying Club 20.04.1938

Yes, it is the same Robert Edwin Hall.
In 1911 census he is living 3, Orsett Road, Grays, Essex with parents George and Edna nee Bradshaw and siblings.

I am unable to find a marriage record and I had hoped that he had some children/relatives who would be interested in his wartime service as like my father he was with special services/ intelligence and would have some info about their work together

You could buy a copy of his death cert which may give you a bit of info.  If his death was reported by his widow or one of his children, their details will be shown

However, there are no guarantees as a death could be reported by anybody
