Any information at all please on Mikolaj Kilarski (various spellings of Mikolaj). Lived in Torquay? Paignton? I have almost nothing to go on. Born Poland? Ukraine?

I'm really grateful for the marriage findings, which, as Crisane says, will definitely be worth my pursuing for the additional information on the GRO certificate.


Maybe one day a living Kilarski will read this and get in touch.

Just noticed that there are 3 records of his death all with same details except for his first name which has 3 different spellings.

Mikolai,  Mikolaj,  Mikolay

I can't see any children for this couple. She would have been 41 when they married.

I put Kilarski in England in to google and amongst the hits was this obituary.
KILARSKI Mikolaj
Of Paignton, passed away at Torbay Hospital on July 13th 2004 aged 82 years. Devoted husband of the late Mavis. He will be sadly missed by his friends.
A Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Teresa, Cecil Road, Paignton on Friday, August 6th 2004 at 9.30am, prior to interment at Torquay Cemetery.
Floral tributes or donations for Paignton Hospital League of Friends and Torbay Hospital League of Friends may be sent to Maunders Funeral Service, 27 Well Street, Paignton.
